Important update for CRTAFE students

Let's press the pause button.

CRTAFE has been working in line with WA Government advice to limit the impact of COVID-19 on your studies.
With these considerations in mind CRTAFE is pausing training and educational delivery starting Monday 30 March.

What you need to know.

During the temporary pause, our lecturers will be working to prepare for transition to a blended learning (a combination of varying learning modes) wherever possible to best support students in the continuation of their training.
Our aim is to recommence delivery primarily through blended learning at the start of Term 2 on Tuesday 28 April 2020. For some courses, where face-to-face delivery is required, we will look at a range of options including social distancing measures and, in some instances, rescheduling of components of the course.
There will be some exceptions to the pause period.
  • Courses that are already delivered online will continue as planned.
  • In some areas where lecturers are trialing blended delivery, this may continue.
  • A few courses, particularly in skills areas supporting essential services, may continue with some face-to-face delivery on campus.
  • In some instances, plans were already in place to deliver face-to-face classes next week, and our lecturers will discuss with you the arrangements for such classes.
If the above apply to you, your lecturer will contact you directly and will work with you to ensure you can continue your training and assessment. We will communicate with you further over the coming weeks with more details about your studies.
These are challenging times for all and we would like to thank you for your support and for looking after each other. As we navigate this situation together, we will continue to do all we can to ensure quality training outcomes for you our students.

We are closely monitoring new Coronavirus (COVID-19) information provided by the WA Government and Department of Health . All of the latest updates and information can be found on our website. Read More
